Module 1 & 2

Having spent 2 sessions now with Scott, I have got a reasonable understanding of what the Web.2 course involves.  After the first session I managed to play around with the igoogle homepage to personalize my page.  I find that doing this takes a lot of time and patience to enable some familiarity with the settings and tabs.  As a Reading Recovery teacher I believe that the blogging could be used in the Roaming Around the Known part of the series of lessons.  Each child could blog stories for each of the other students to read each day.  This would help with recording of sounds they hear and as the writing would be personal, their ability to reread a post from the previous day will be easier.  Alongside this, the novelty of this technology should no doubt provide high enthusiasm.
